I know I need struts, and a tune up. Anything else??

Check radiator support for rust, have a spare MAF sensor, ignition coil, and starter...these go first. Read threads here on motor mounts fry ECU and IACV coolant bypass...save you $$$ in future just in case. I'm sure others will chime in too with more.

Ok, thanks, wouldn't have thought of that ignition coil, but the whole cooling system is brand new, because the previous owner got the thermostat stuck all the way open, and blow up the radiator or something because it couldn't handle all the pressure. I'll check the mounts when I do the struts, any tips for struts? Alternator too right? I know about the mounter mounts, cause they have that sensor that won't make the car go into high gears, as it's an automatic😭☹️. And last, how long should I keep the car, because I got it because it was nice, reliable, fast, good mpg, and $1000, but there's a limit to how reliable, and being a dumb kid I can't keep my foot out of it, and I'm cornering to max whenever I can. This will stop once I get my second car (something rwd, 240sx, 300zx, or 350z), but I'm worried about the damage I'm doing now? Or do you guys haul in your car and they hold up ok? Just wear out a little faster? I'm 16 and want to keep the car till I'm 25, which is doable. Just don't want $$$ repairs. Like if the engine or tranny goes... game over, and then new car, which will probably be another maxima, but still, let me know? Sorry for the long paragraph.
