Beck-Arnley fuel injector tune-up kit???

What are the contents of this kit? If I replace all 6 injectors, are there parts included I won't need? Thanks!

The kit will come with all manifold gaskets and all injector o-rings and seals. but since you have the vg engine then it may come with more stuff (ie. filter screens) which will be on your new injetors. The kit is excellent b/c its a complete job, I think you should get it even though there may be something that you wont use. Price wise the kit is excellent b/c to buy the parts individually will be twice as much.

I have a ve and was the one who posted about the beck/arnley kit and reccomend it to those who want to do a complete job.

Carparts.com sells it for around $60 I think.

Thats probably not the correct part b/c the kit for the vg is around $120, and around $80 for the ve. The vg kit must come with more stuff b/c the injectors are different, I'm assuming it comes with new filter screens b/c on the ve they are not removable.

VG-$121
VE-$51 according to carparts.com
eric, does this kit include the intake gaskets? i have a garage and tools to take this project on with, all i need are the intake gaskets and fuel injector "kit"..while i'm at it, i'm going to clean the knock sensor connectors..basically what you did a while ago IIRC..

and to repeat myself (mostly so i dont take the motor apart and realize i need a gasket thats a weeks time away if i order then) this is all i'll need to remove the upper portion of the intake manifold, allowing access to the knock sensor?

You need the intake mainfold (lower set) to get at the knock sensor!
I actually reused mine and resealed it with high temperature copper gasket maker from permatex. This pair of gaskets are expensive for the ve $$$$$$$$$$$. I hear they are a good buy from courtesy nissan. BUT REMEMBER YOU NEED TWO gaskets. I ordered from carparts.com and it only came with one, and it costs ~$60, so I sent it back and used the permatex.

The intake manifold gaskets are different from the vg so be carful that you get the right stuff.

Also DO NOT GET THE lower conversion gasket set, its now what you need. A conversion set allows the use of a different manifold, I saw this item at a local parts store and I told the guy he should re-label it b/c someone will buy it and be FU!ked, the gaskets are actually smaller and I dont see how they would even fit.
