got my a$$ handed to me by an SUV

good thing it was an ML55 AMG, anything else and i'd be so ashamed i'd never post about it.....
heres the story....

its around 7:00PM a few evenings ago and im at a stoplight. I notice a massive silver hunk pull up next to me, look down and see monoblocks. I see the rest of the sport badging, don't see the red caliper or the dual exhaust and figure its a ML 320/430 w/ sport package. I hadn't really been on open road all day and was kinda ****ed so i figured i'd floor it for the hell of it. I floor it and get a half car lead and then the silver hunk floors it, it zooms past me and i see brake lights when its three or four car lengths ahead of me as i finally ease off the gas pedal. It turned just after i caught a glimpse of the letters 55 and the AMG badging. Man those things are sweet......

That ML took you out in your 02.. I know those are fast but I don't know if that are fast enough to beat you by 3-4 cars from A stop light

A 6spd maxima would smoke one, even a auto max should be a hair quicker.

Car and driver got 0-60: 6.8
1/4 Mile: 15.3

Not very impressive.

You must be an auto. They're fast, but not that fast. I think they are only good for mid 6 second 0-60 and high 14 1/4.

ONLY . Considering about 80% cars here don't crack 14z 1/4 mile

I have seen a few ML55's in action. They are fast ! If he took a 2k2 by 3-4 cars, he must have RAIDED the Brabus catalog for mods. I know they put out over 300 HP stock . If C/D got 15.3, it must really run a 14.5 ..
