1st Time at Track

At NYIRP tonight...

My car : 2000 5-speed, only Berk Intake

My best was 15.4 @ 93 MPH (RT was .467 and 60' was 2.468)

It was hot and humid - 85 degrees/62% humidity at the start of the night...

Not bad, I guess, but it looks like my launching technique needs a bit of work. Too much wheel hop at launch..

Fun night though!

(I'll be paying for this tomorrow AM when I have to get up for work in 5 hours)...

Yeah with a decent 60' time like a 2.25 you could run a 15.0 or so.

Hmm, the track has sportsman or full tree (3 yellow lights consecutively followed by green) and your timeslip says 0.467, you actually jumped the gun and redlighted. A perfect time on that tree is 0.500.
