interior neon installation help...

I bought two neon tubes from wal-mart and a (12VDC) switch from radio shack, but I have no idea how to hook them up to the fuse box....is there any place online that has a guide with pictures? or is there anyone that can help me out?

Do a search (its the link at the top of the page that says search) for something like 'Neons' or 'Install Neon' etc......., you will find a lot of info because this has been discussed many times, I know I asked about 4 months ago, and was told to search by the great and powerful moderators .

run a wire from ur fuse (i used the cigarette lighter fuse) to the switch. then on another prong on the switch, run a wire to your power for the neons. then just find a ground behind your dash and u have a complete circuit.

I am buying neons tomorrow and want to wire then into a fuse in teh fuse box that is not in use. My problem is how would I take out the fuse box so that I could get to the back of the fuse box?

don't go through that much trouble. wrap a stripped part of a wire around the fuse itself and push it back into the fuse slot.

yep that's what i did. i used my cigarette lighter fuse (i never use my cigarette lighter thing anyway), and ran that to a switch, and then to my neons.

the best way to do it is to get the neon and extend the wires (16 guage should be fine). then take the red wire and wrap it around either one of the prongs of your cigarette lighter fuse(if you connect it to this fuse, it will only turn on while your headlights are on). once thats done, take the black wire, and touch it to any piece of metal (preferably a metal bolt or something). Turn on your headlights, if the neons turn on, you did everything right, if not - try again
