Q about DavidL clears (I own them)

I have some David L clears. In a lot of kinds of lighting, the clear piece on the top looks way too white compared to the reverse clears. Has anyone tried smoking them out a bit to match the inner clears?

it is alittle lighter-- but i can deal with it.. i dont wanna smoke it out too much.. i have a feeling i couldnt smoke it like stock tho... it looks fine -- hehe look at my sig-- david L clear/reds at its best!

the blinkers are slightly brighter, but you cant tell unless you stare at them:

On mine, the stock translucent clears are a marked contrast to the opaque clear of the APC clears. Still, most people don't notice, particularly from far away. I've learned to live with it...

Same here. I've realized on a black car, it doesn't seem as noticible. Or at least that's what I've noticed in pics (ny's, GarthC's, maxedout, etc)
