Car stalls while driving... Dealer cant find anything wrong...HELP

heres the situation..... while driving everything is normal and all the sudden the car lurches forward and the rpms start bogging....then reving..then bogging...then reving and finally stalls....while im in traffic so i put it in neutral and try to start it but it is VERY difficult.... it finally will fire after 10-15 secs of trying. This starting problem also happens when starting the car after it has been parked for a while.... however the dealer cant find anything wrong with the car... they thought it was the knock sensor so we replaced it but it didnt solve anything. Has anyone else had a problem like this ... i dont know what else to do. THANK YOU

It's your MAFS probably (99% positive). Go to www.car-parts.com and pick any 95-98 one(maybe 99 too). I beleive they call it a air flow meter at car-parts.

yes, this **** happened me today going to work at a traffic light. I got so ****ed, i traveled 65 mph (i go local) the rest of the way hearing the roar of my intake . Took me a half a minute to get my car started, luckily there was no one behind me. I also have that problem of hard starting whenever my car is sitting outside on a hot day. I thought it would be a spark plug problem, but an MAF problem seems logical also.

alright, this **** is starting to p!iss me the **** off. I started my car to go home from work, and it just died. I started normally, and it ****ing died. Now, i am a real ******* when i drive when this **** happens (i don't let people switch lanes in front of me, one day i'll get shot for doing this). Again, this only happens to me when it's hot outside and my car has been sitting out there.

On an unrelated topic, i am getting really bad gas mileage. I don't know what it can be but yea. Also, i think my maxima is running really sluggish. My friend's I30 totally burns me and it just gets me mad. As of now, i hate my max
