***GD on Indiglo Guages for 2000-01 Max.***

I just spoke to the manager of Redlinezone.com. He told me that if I can get close to 100 people interested, he can get a mold created for our cars. He says that they can also specially put a logo on them and do all sorts of customizing(i.e. the MAXIMA logo). Please reply to this ONLY if you are interested. If I can get close to 100 people, the price will be around $50-60.

Any questions, please e-mail me.

The ONLY way something like this is going to happen is if you get Greg from CustomMaxima.com involved.

He will order/pay up front and the manufacturer tends to lower the quantity necessary, since they don't have to deal with individuals.

I'd see what kind of response you get and then contact Greg to see if he's willing to help out.

Good luck!

lovely...and they will be specifically for the 5th gen????

I did a 1995 sentra to the 1995 200sx gauge conversion so that I could have the indiglo gauges....it was a PIA and the wiring to the gauges had to be completely redone...killed two altenators in the process...but in the end...they looked lovely till that wench rear ended me and totaled my car.....

the point to my lil soliloquy is....I want to be sure that the gauges are for the 5th gen..ANDDDDDDDD plug and play...{as in locate a power source and put them over the current gauges -- without losing the needles of course--30 minutes tops and no other financial requirements that conversion cost me $400 bucks....and YES it was worth every dang dime)

and if they are gonna be reverse.....and of course plug and play.....then count me innnnnnnnn!!!!!!

I spoke to the manager from the redline racing and he could barely speak english. Sounded like he was chineese. He said that in order for them to make the mold for the guages, he will need a set that he could take apart and make a mold of it. Then he told me that the molding machine that will make these guages will cost him roughtly $3000.00 to make. Thats why i need atleast 100 people to buy in on this.

They dont have a mold made yet. They told me it is aprox. $3000 to make a mold machine for our gauges.

Scroll down the page and look at the REAL pic of the guages. Do you see how the alignment of the slashes and lettering is off?
