After taking 2 months to find a wheel I liked, I can tell you 7.5 is too narrow a wheel for a Maxima.

Yeah, gunmax has the wider ones in the rear. However, this doesn't make sense to me since our cars are FWD. I thought the wheels that are moving the car should have the wider ones. Oh well, regardless gunmax, I gotta say it again... your rims are sweet!

The Maxima on Freshalloy, also was widder in the rear than in front. Gunmax has wider wheels in the rear, but his tires are all the same size... It's an asthetic mod... It looks nice, but wont be of any advantage ..

7.5 is fine because you can run a 235 tire... any wider than a 235 tire and you into the look over performance catagory

Being that it is wide helps in turns and grips, But I like the way it looks, and rides.

everything has a limit... its all about the rotational mass vs. grip

I think the perfect compromise for all around maxima performance is a 235 tire.

can't blame you there... I agree that a 245 or wider does look better... just as a 19" rim looks better... if I didn't race then I would be going bigger..

I would trade rims with you in a second... (then I would go and buy some cheap 17s for race.

Yes, Makes you wish it was rear drive but it makes the car look it. So ya I am going for looks right now but I will get my performance to back my looks.

the wider you go, the deeper the wheels go in more towards the fender..if you want the wheels to come out more, then you also have to play with your offset.
