I am PI$$ED!!!!!! UPDATE!

UPDATE!

I drove the service manager in it and he sees the problem but can't justify it enough to change to a NEW tranny. He said he will back me 100% when I call Nissan direct for a NEW tranny.

At this point it raises about 400 rpm between 1st to second and has a long a$$ delay in the shift, then it slowly slides into gear.

I am so pi$$ed about this $h!t! Wish me luck when I call Nissan on Monday.

You would think but this is now my 3rd tranny and should not even have the old solenoids in it. I asked how long the tranny was in the dealership he said he just got it in from Nissan so I assume it has up to date parts. I want a NEW tranny not a Nissan remanufactured one. Any other help you guys can give me?

This is your THIRD transmission for a 2001 car? You've either been having a lot of bad luck or there's another underlying problem. Your mods don't indicate anything that would produce massive amounts of additional torque or HP, so why is your trans falling apart? Do you drive it like a manual all the time? How many miles are on the car? Do you do a lot of city driving?

Good luck getting the problem fixed, and for good!

54k miles on the car now. First tranny had metal shavings in it after they stalled on fixing the TSB slip. Then second tranny lasted 10k miles before the tranny had very low pressure to the point of no drive gear when started up. Now third tranny has a very bad slip stall between 1st and second. Called Nissan they are calling the service maneger who is backing me up on this one. We will see what they feel will fix it.
