2nd of 2 questions - power steering pump

Looks like I might have to swap out my power steering pump. Has anybody here had to do this before? That sucker looks like its pretty buried in there. I'm just looking for any tips or angles of attack. I'm not sure how to go about beginning to take it out. Thanks.

What kind of problems are you having? My pump is absolutely screaming. I mean it is LOUD. It works fine. I don't have any steering problems or anything. It's just loud. I was just curious as to what yours is doing.

Mine is making a loud griding noise when i turn it, and it is a bit harder to turn at times, also if i look at my power steering resevoir, it is bubbling a bit when my car is on. You know what can make a loud screaming noise sometimes is if your power steering fluid or some oil is leaking onto your belts, then that will cause a screaming noise, just something to check. Get your car up on a lift and find out where exactly the sound is coming from. Let me know how it goes.
