Grant Evolution Shift ****...just ordered

Anybody else throw this on their Maxima? I thought it looked pretty nice and has the perforated leather upper to match my seats...I just ordered it.

They've got it with different color accents as well as carbon fiber.

Good looking shift ****

Man, that is nice! I'm looking for a new shift ****, to go with the short throw shifter I'll eventually get... I'd consider that one.

Details on where from / cost please

Mike

Oops...sorry...

$69.99 from JC Whitney...

Link to Catalog Page with All Colors

For some reason the price is listed higher on this page, but if you continue to purchase, it goes down.

Well, "GRANT" is a well known name. Evolution is the model name.

It isn't that expensive or out of whack pricing. It is real leather, so you'll pay for it. I've seen real carbon fiber shift ***** in the $80-$100 range. Higher quality machined aluminum ***** are pricy too.

It isn't as bad as $tillen's $120 piece of "exotic titanium" which looks like a swizel stick.

Looks sweet! I've looked at a lot of shift ***** and for a substantial **** w/leather, that's about right, price-wise. Be sure to let us know if you are happy with it when it arrives.

Photos on my cardomain site...

Check out page five of my site for photographs of the shift **** from different angles. It looks great, I recommend this one. Very nicely put together, good quality leather, a nice branded "Evolution" on the side. Has a nicely built, ergonomic design...hand fits right around it.

A huge plus for me...No big-a$$ logo saying SPARCO or MOMO across the thing!

One additional note for you 2K2/2K3 guys or other 5th gen folks who have the 2K2 boot installed. The base of the Evolution is exactly the same diameter as the top of the shift boot when snapped. No need for any fancy way of fastening the shift boot up. It snaps right around the base and stays put.

I just went for a drive...it looks nice and feels nice.
