With all this chat about clearing this/that out I was wondering who here likes clear lights vs. stock likes?

 

Depends, which lights are we talking about?

 

Clear side markers: Cool
Clear tails: Rice

Well, depends if you don't consider the 2k2 tails not-clear If you don't, i take the smash back. It's mine i tell you! Mine!

 

No, those are cool. I actually like them.

It's the ones that are REALLY clear that I'm talking about- the same color as our side markers- those are ghetto......

Plus I really don't dig the Eclipse/Civic Altezzas. But they are tolerable.......

I like the contrast of red\orange against the black of my car. On lighter color cars, I don't mind the clear markers, but on darker cars, I think it's ricey.

 

Some people on this board consider putting 2002 OEM Nissan tails on a 00-01 ricey and I think thats ridiculous, but hey, its their opinion and not mine...

 

i agree. 2K2 tails look nowhere NEAR what would be considered "RICE" seen on those ugly hondas.

 

Exactly, but some people are so ready to call anything rice. I dont see how anything made by nissan for a maxima if installed correctly could be rice...

 

Who voted that lights are evil?

BTW... clears I'm talking about any bulb/light.

I have one more thing I like add...

Colored headlight bulbs(Not HID)?

Rice?
Nice?

Green?
Blue?
Purple?

 

Colored bulbs arent bad as I used to have some, but I see nothing but Hondas green, blue is everywhere, and purple just looks off, but thats all my opinions. Hyperwhite bulbs are what I'd go with unless you want a color...

 

I don't like the orange front side markers, so I switched to clears. But, I like the rear red ones so I left those in. To much clear makes the car look plain. Like, I like the orange that some people are attempting to clear out of the front 2k2 headlights & I like the color of the tail lights.

 

this is how it works....if you're car is dark and you have 02 tails, then i can see how some peole can find that "ricey", but if you're car is grey or silver or any light color like such, the 02 tails blend in lovely!!!!!
