i went to the track for the first time ever...i have a 97 auto GXE and my bes time was 16.1, other were like 16.3 or 16.5, i had some sh***ty reaction times, plus it kinda rained earlier in the day so the track was just a lil bit slick....i noticed this when i take off that my tires don't really grip the ground instantly....i'm still on the stock hubs...heres my slip for my best time, any ways i can improve, i felt like i could have done better
r/t .692
60 2.538
330 6.924
1/8 10.500
1000 13.555
1/4 16.191 @ 84.21 MPH

i live in south florida and it was like in the mid 80's that nite,
i ran with no spare tire and i had 1/4 tank a gas left

Hey, Maxx,

Don't know if your time is good or bad, but I see you're in Ft. Lauderdale. I'm just up the road in West Palm. Did you go to Moroso track?

I've been there many times watching friends, but never been down the track.

Depending on what mods you have, its not bad. My first time at the track with my 5spd stock I ran a 16 flat. I've only seen one auto 95 GLE run and he ran 16.9 so your 16.1 is not too bad, depending on mods of course.

Yea, i ran at moroso speedway, it was kinda slick that nite, so my tires never gripped the ground for the first second.

Tonight was my first time also. It was only a 1/8 mile track. I have a 2K2 Auto GLE with Berk intake and Addco RSB. First time was hard. I had so many people laughing and smurking. The guy that paints the number on the cars said, "are you sure you wanna race this". First race was a Honda civic with god knows what cause he wooped me. Older civic cx to boot. He had heavy, heavy mods though.
After I raced the first time, the guy in the civic said he ashamed that he almost lost to a 4 door family car. (I had the baby seat in the car) When I was waiting to race again I heard many comments like, "that Maxima is fast" and "I never knew Maxima's were that quick". Felt good to say the least.

1/8 9.9064
Reaction time .8313
60 2.3536
73.784 MPH

Is this a good time for a 2K2 Auto Max?
