ALTIMAS.net Sponsored, We're not???

How come Altimas.net gets their forum sponsored (TireRack, Stillen) and we don't have anything more than banner ads? Does Jambo not want sponsors, or are they just not interested?

Probably both.

Most of us here despise $tillen. They seem MUCH more interested in the VQ35 Altys......

TThe only reason most people despise stillen is cuz they charge so much. now if a sponsorship helped weigh against that, or we got a discount - I and probably many others would be quick stillen converts. I'd love to have some stillen stuff on my car, but its all way too expensive...

You do get discounts! From me! I see what other people pay out there for stuff and I can always sell it to them for cheaper. I guess people just don't know about me as a resource or feel uneasy about buying from some guy on a message board. So there, I'm officially sponosoring the org.

Maybe "What three songs do you like to play best in your Maxima" doesn't interest them?

Or, perhaps its the adolescent peer pressure put on independent thinkers to conform whenever an independent thinker makes a suggestion that strays from the group-think code of what "looks good"?
Hmmm.....

In order to be sponsored by tirerack, the BBS has to create a separate forum for rims and tires (not that that's a big deal). This site gets enough hits to be sponsored by tirerack. you just have to ask.

Have you spent much time over at Altima.net? They blast each other 10 times what anyone here might.

Although, I will agree the three song type questions are getting old.
