I'm ok with a 8.0, 35mm and a 245. I'm not really sure how much extra room there is. Hopefully someone else will know.

Grrr, I got problems with my setup! I just slapped on a set of 245/40/18 with a 37 offset and it rubs!

is your car lowered? how much? does it rub on the outer fender or inner? what did you do? did you roll the fenders or change the wheels?

It actually rubs the fender. The portion of the fender that is parallel to the ground. It's just barely grazing the sidewall of the tire when the suspension compresses. I'm going to get my fenders rolled to accomodate.

I have 37 in the rear, on a 18x8.5 and it rubs. I'm going to have my fenders rolled on Monday.

You bend the inner lip of the fender inwards. When I say inner lip, I mean the lip of the fener that is parallel to the ground. It's kind of hard to explain. When I get it done, I'll show you pics of it. That'll clear it up for you.
