Any new Nismo parts updates?

Has there been any news on what parts Nismo will be introducing here?

they will be out next month. Go to www.courtesyparts.com they have nismo stuff there but won't go on sale til end of august start of september. I e-mailed them a few times about maxima nismo stuff but they don't know yet, so I told them to look in the new nismo catalog they have but they didn't receive that either. They have 350Z wheels for sale too(sept.)...

In the 2k1 catalog. According to NISMO I can get cams, race cylinder heads and a forged crankshaft + pistons. However this is for the VG30 so your SOL. .

Not trying to be a jerk or anything but, has anyone ever seen any real performance parts for our cars made by NISMO. I've seen a lot of shift *****, seat belt pads, etc., but never anything of substance. Am I missing something?

If you want performance parts from Nismo, get a 350Z. The Sentra SE-R should get a turbo kit, but other than that the 350Z is the only new car in North America that Nismo gives a rats *** about. The Maxima is **** out of luck. Sad, but true.

I asked recently about NISMO parts at my local Nissan dealership. Parts manager suggested not buying these parts as they do not carry a warranty through the dealership and all warranty parts must be sent back to Japan for replacement. Definately not what I was wanting to hear. He actually suggested Stillen and others for parts as it would be quicker getting replacements than using NISMOs.

That guy doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.

Nismo parts for the 350Z are covered by warranty and can be installed by local dealerships. If Nismo ever produced a supercharger for the Maxima (don't hold your breath), it would be covered by warranty.

I was thinking the same thing. Could be a low profit margin for them, so they don't want to deal with it? Who knows. Maybe the simple brush-off technique.

For a real list of parts check out this link: http://www.nismo.co.jp/catalogue/pdf/z33.pdf

This is the official current offering of Nismo Performance Parts for the Japanese version, the Fairlady Z, in Adobe Acrobat form. Of course, everything is in Japanese, but you can see pictures of the gorgeous Aero kit, rims, suspension parts, and more.

Do you people SERIOUSLY expect any kind of support by Nissan ->Motorsports<- for the Maxima*** ? Come on, get real. Not enough aftermarket, not enough manufacturer support for performance parts. Good luck to everyone who is wishing and hoping though!

*** See Maxima: ma'ksi'mah - 4-door FWD North American Sedan. Also see "Not a sports car."

NISMO has been good to nissans in the 80s and up to mid 90s. Why not just order parts directly from japan? Sure you will pay alot but it will be JDM, hell it might even come with a JDM paper bag . What mods would people want to get from NISMO? Unless I'm mistaken there are already lots of mods out for the maximas . Or is that everyone wants a NISMO sticker for their car?

Hey idiot, the Altima is a "4-door FWD North American Sedan" and it's getting parts from Nismo, along with the SE-R, Xterra, Frontier, and 350Z. Nismo excluded the Maxima, but the reasons why has nothing to do with what you're working your gums about, so be quiet.
