5 speed swap tomorrow, quick question for the swap guys...
Okay, I already have my master cylinder and pedals installed. How long do you think it will take to swap out the tranny's, can it all be done in one day with 2-3 people? Thanks in advance.
It will take a couple hours, its not hard, you just gotta be REALLY carefull. Getting the auto out without dropping it, getting the manual up there on a jack and balancing it and what not...one false move and the tranny is dead!

1. we put it in at night and the F*cking wires got lodged between the tranny and the engine..
2. there is a stupid alignment nub that makes the tranny and engine line up.. It is not part of either the tranny or the engine though but merely a chuck of metal.. well it ended up that the doner 5 speed had the nub in it and the engine had the one off the auto.. so it would not bolt up.. we had to pull the 5 speed back down and pull the nub out w/ EXTRA large plyers..
