license plate

Has anyone modified the location of their front license plate? It's way too high up, I was thinking of placing it further down. But I don't want to screw it into the bumper. Any suggestions or pictures that I can look at?

Mine is behind the bumper in the lower front valence. Still visible obviously, but out of the way.

Hmm...would there be any problems with cops if you got the front license plate and chopped the bottom and top of it so it would look like the european license plates? I know the cops would most likely let it slide, then again there's always that one a$$hole cop...but is it illegal?

Flip the bracket 180 degrees, and reinstall it. Then attach the license plate to the license plate holder, and screw into that with small screws. I did that to mine and it looks a little bit better than before.

I think its illegal to modify the plate itself. Of course, it probably depends on where you are...
