putting LED's behind ACC and gauge cluster on 99

i did a search and all i could really find was the math needed to put the led's behind the ACC. however i want to do the same to my guage cluster. i know on the 98-99 they dont use a 194 type bulb its something different. my question is what size LED's do i use, candle power, and is white an OK color or is blue better?? also where can i get them from? and i need to know how to fit the LED and resistor into the socket. is there a way or a new type of LED that acutally disperses the light better too?

the math i understand, i just need to know all the other stuff.

thanks for your help

what I did was I got some One LED 194 bulbs and took out the plastic housing. Inside that housing is a small resistor and a diod. You can safely remove the diode or leave it in. But you cannot remove the resistor, if you do the LED will burn out. Then I took my dremmel (high-speed drill) and shaved a little bit around the holes so the 194's would fit. Then simply put the LEDS in and soldered them on. You have to get the polarity right though, if you solder them in reverse they wont light up. I still have some 4LED 194s that I need to try out.. too lazy :-/
