All Interior Conversions Post Here

Is or has anyone done a color conversion on their interior? If so, post here. State what your going to / what you used, what color it was, and what the new color is. Thanks.

I'm trying to convert my beige interior to a black interior by getting the inside recarpeted and using Sem interior paint.

The interior used to be that ugly greenish/grey. The back seats, headliner, door inserts were redone in blue/black vinyl. I replaced the front seats with Corbeau A4's, and everything else was dyed black/blue at the shop. Here is what is looks like now.

After show season is over, I will be fiberglassing the whole thing and color matching it to the exterior of the car.

I went from tan to black but haven't painted the dash yet. It was pretty easy overall.

After I replace my CV boots I am planning on buying SEM colorcoat paint. You can get it in an aresol can for easy application and it is a good match. Here is the website: www.semproducts.com

Yea, that's what i'm using. I already tested in on an interior piece. It came out good, but if you scratch it, it comes off. But i didn't spray the finisher gloss. I'm gona do it again on fri with the gloss.
