a 1 yr old Cattman SS y-pipe
a guy is wants to sell his 1 yr. old Cattman SS y-pipe. This helps me because i just bought a Cattman CAI (piping and the Monster Flow filter) and I am getting a custom catback exhaust system put in on Friday. So the y-pipe is another piece to my puzzle. I was thinking about just laying low for a few weeks to get more cash but this guy is selling his 1 yr. old Cattman SS y-pipe for $250. I asked what condition it was in and how he thought it added to the performance of his Max.
Anyone have an opinion on the Cattman SS y-pipe and how it performs? should i buy this one eventhough it is 1 yr. old? thanks for the input.

The cattman stainless steel Y pipe is a good quality Ypipe. If he had the flex section replaced then thats good !!the new flex sections are pretty strong I just got my replaced 2 months ago. I was going to sell it but I am very happy that I didnt sell it. It gave my car some good HP.
Most Cattman Y-pipes do not have a problem with the flex section. But that is not to say they may not encounter one in the future... So unless it was fixed, you would probably need to check the integrity of the flex every so often. Otherwise, one year on a Cattman is nothing. My Cattman is one year old and is looking great. Too bad the damn thing didn't fit well from the get go but I imagine that if this fellow had it on his max, that you should have no problems with fitment either. On mine, one of the flanges was not oriented correctly...
