damn FWD drift- i scuffed a rim :-(
Yesterday, I spun wheel coming out of a street in a turn, and my damn car drifted its front end to the right, right into a curb. Now about 1/6th of the outer rim is scuffed and a chunk outta my tire :-(. Too bad I just moved the 215 55 16 tires in the front and the 225 50 16s in the rear. One or both of my rear wheels are probably out of round too, so now I got 2 or 3 screwed up wheels :-(. The scuffage really isnt that bad, but it pisses me off that even the previous owner of my car managed to keep all 4 wheels in tip top shape. Is there any place that either sells the 16" SE 97 wheels cheaply, or some place that can refinish? I am considering http://www.wheelcollision.com, they seem to be good, hopefully they will be able to straighten my wheel one if indeed it is bad, and refinish the other.

Not worth it. Aftermarket 16" goes for less than $150. Refinish stock one will be $100 plus shipping. Drive until you need new tires and then buy some 17" wheels/tires package for around $1K.
