Using clear bulbs in turn signals
Do you guys run into trouble with having clear bulbs for turn signals? Up front I have clear bumper lights with orange bulbs, but in back I'm running clear bulbs with my cleared out turn signals. Is this a bad idea? I like the way it looks when they flash, but I don't need to be getting pulled over.
I too think that having clear, or blue turn signals is illegal. My fried got a $100 fine fro having blue's up front. I have orange bulbs front and back, but in the daytime the rears look white. Has anyone ever tried red signal in the rear? Is red illegal?
I have front and rear clears with the amber bulbs in them just stay with amber, your bulbs have to be amber or red for turn signal and it just looks better to have what you have in the back to be the same as the front

i had blue up front and in the back but i rewired my rear turn signals
so now i have to get new bulbs. but they don't make these bulbs colored. i got another harnes for the stop lights and wired it in. they don't make colored bulbs for the stop light do they?
know what i wanna do? i wanna put superwhites in my reverse lights, so people can really see me when i reverse. but here's the stroke of genius that came to me... wire up a switch to activate the reverse lights at any time! someone tailgatin ya? highbeam em!

your not the only one who thought of that.
my reverse lights stoped working so i was going to put it on a switch so i could pass the inspection. then after i drove on the highway a couple times i thought i could just put it on if someone is to close. but i never got around to it i still have like 4 months before my inspection is up.

hmm...
yeah its not worth it unless your directly related to a cop, because three separate PBA cards didn't save me from having blue front and rear sigs but then again the cop that pulled me over has a mean streak for me.
