My Opinion: StreetGlow and LiteGlow underbody kits

For those of you who are considering to get an underbody kit I would like to comment on 2 brands, Lite Glow Pro Series and the StreetGlow Gold Series kits. I had the Lite Glow kit on my '99 and now have the StreetGlow on my 2k2.

As for as packaging is concerned, the StreetGlow kits were packaged much better which means there is little chance that the neons will break during shipping. The StreetGlow kits come with screws, an illuminated switch, decals, better mounting brackets, and easy to follow instructions which the Lite Glow kit doesn't have.

The StreetGlow neons seem to be much better quality and sealed better to avoid water leaks. My LiteGlow kit was ruined after 2 months because of water leaking inside the neons. The StreetGlow neons are also longer, instead of 48" side neons for the LiteGlow kit, the StreetGlow side neons are 51". I also found the GTO wiring on the StreetGlow kit was better quality as well.

Both kits are made in China as it says all over the neons and packaging, however if something goes wrong, StreetGlow has a much better warranty policy. If you ever have problems with a LiteGlow product you'll have to almost fight with the customer service (which I had to do previously). As far as brightness and color, the StreetGlow kit is without a doubt brighter and more blue.

No, I don't work for StreetGlow, I just wanted to give everyone my opinion on both products since I've had both on my cars. So if you haven't gotten the idea yet, buy the StreetGlow kit, you won't regret it. I will post pics of both kits in a weeks time.

So where should we go about getting the Streetglow Gold kit? I think the cheapest I saw was something like $139 + s/h. Somewhere online so I gotta check...

I have had the gold series on my car for about 8 months now and have not had one problem.
