well, currently, the audio companies are cracking down on internet sales. your best bet is to go to a regular store to get them, or talk to maximadave, or pearl96max.

First off i am just looking for prices! Id like to know the price you can get a JL Audio 250/1 amp and i would like to know if you can get JL speakers, if so im interested in the 6x9 VR690CXi and the 6.5 VR650CSi speakers. The prices on those would be great if possible!

thanks

hey Dave,,,,or Don

Hey guys, if we order from you, I know we get good prices,,,,cause you guys are all class. But, my question is this, when we buy from you all, is there a way we can get warranties, or is it just hope nothing goes wrong??

I too, am STILL looking into gettin a JL 250/1 (that darn Punch75 just won't die). I have one 10W3 right now, but might go with 2 eventually. Will the 250/1 be enough for 2 10's? If not, would the 500/1 be too much for just one 10?

Thanks for any help.....DMAN

1 JL 10W3 handles 250 watts rms....JL 250/1

2 JL 10W3's total 500 watts rms....JL 500/1

JL designed their amps around their speaker line.

If you get it at Tweeter warranty is good at any Tweeter store (165+ nationwide) near you. Additional warranty up to 5 years is available...

since when do w3's only handle rated wattage? i had no problems feeding my 12w3 700 watts rms, plus a small amount of bass boost. never distorted, never blew...

here's how you do it:
step 1: take some extra lamp cord, and plug it into your amp.
step 2: stand back
step 3: plug it into the wall
step 4: call dave, and order your new amp

it was an rf power500a2. it might not have been quite 700, as my voltage does drop sometimes, but i figure i was hittin it with at least 500, plus a few dB of boost.

i have a couple friends that are/were running dual 12w3's @ over 900 watts (courtesy of a power800a2, and mtx thunder 2300x) and neither one has had problems.

I can still give full warranty, unfortunately it would have to go through me. In other words...IF something goes wrong ,you would have to ship back to me.

Thanks eric, but I'm not sure if I want to kill the amp,,,,just waitin for it to die. I have come to the conclusion that I think I'll go ahead and get the 250/1 and if I end up wantin more bass, I'll go to a 12. That oughta do me. Thanks for the suggestion though eric....hehe,,,,,,DMAN

PS -- Hey Dave, that sure is a nice.....rear end in you sig,,,,I mean tail lights...hehe, yeahhh that's what I mean...
