Track NEWBIE, tips?

Hi,

I'm going to my first 1/4 mile track Wednesday. Could anyone give me beginner tips or refer me to threads with some? I would apprciate it, as I haven't really been able to find much more than launching techniques and ET discussions.

Thanks!

Are you an automatic or 5spd?? All in all lower your front tire pressure to about 24 up the back to 32+ if they will hold that. Also leave the tree on the third yello light, learn to beat them off the tree first. Also do a search for drag tips by "theblue" he knows what he is talking about.

I've searched already. I can't seem to get the right terms to search for though. Also, my sig says I'm 5-speed, if you didn't see that.
