Help! I got new rims

I just got new rims and tires.
they are 17" 5x100 bolt pattern.
Is there anyway that would make the rims fit on my maxima?
Or do I have to pay shipping and return them...
Please help

Did you buy them from a wheel shop? If so & the sales person picked the wrong size (5x100mm) instead of 114.3mm(?), then I'd say the shop is on the hook for the return shipping charge. The sales person at the shop is responsible to figure out the details of the wheel to ensure proper fit. This is based on the car the wheels are being installed on & they have to look at #studs/spacing, offset, etc.

I agree with comments already made. . .

If you confidently specified the make, model and size of the wheels, without specifying your vehicle application (either talking to a rep., or by placing an online order) then it may be looked at as your mistake and you may have to eat the return shipping costs. (I could see this happening if you placed the order online, without the assistance of a company rep. If you placed the order with a human being, however, there really is no excuse for that person not asking you what the vehicle application is before placing the order. That's the sort of basic step in the retail wheel business that prevents just this sort of thing from happening.

However. . .

If you specified your vehicle year, make, model, etc., to a company rep. and they made what they thought to be an appropriate selection for your car, you should be able to get the company to eat the return shipping costs. In that case, hypothetically, it would not have been your fault you ended up with the wrong bolt pattern.

Good luck - keep us posted.

Umm... I think my friend used my name to post. He was so happy when he got the wheels today hehe
But the wheels he got had an offset of 48 is that even gonna fit his maxima?
His wheels are in my living room with my 18" tantrums, my place looks like a shop
Can't wait for my tires to get here and put them on my max. That will make him go even crazier

I'm confused.

his wheels and your tires?
17" and 18"?
offset 48" and 5x100 ? neither will fit.

you and your friend both bought the wheels?

I had the same problem. Wheel Max sent me the wrong size rims but this tire shop managed to put them on. The front should be able to fit just fine but the back wheels u need to put wheel spacers or wat the tire shop did for me was take the hubcap off and bolt it on without the cap. Hope this info helps. I know you are eagerly waiting to put your rims on your maxima.

Sorry about the confusion

His: 17" 5x100 bolt pattern but also has 48 offset, he tried to put them on today but found out that it didn't fit. 48 offset doesn't fit either?

Mine: 18x7.5 Tantrums 5x114.3 bolt pattern with 45 offset. No problems with mine just waiting for the tires to come
