What do you do when you work out of the house and...

...you are waiting on some calls. CARNUBA TIME!!!!!

I love working out of the house. My car never leaves the garage, especially the days it is raining. Since I am sitting around waiting on some call, I figure it was time to give her a major detail. First was the washing. Then the claying (which I am in the middle of) next will be the hight speed polisher then Carnuba!!! Actually, the last part will be margaritas. I can just work on it whenever since I never leave. If I need to go somewhere while I am in the middle of it, I can take the wife's car.

Oh, the sweet nectors or Sole Propriotorship!!

I too work out of the house, and just did the same thing on Monday. It was the perfect day (75 degrees, low humidity and cloudy) for washing, claying and waxing the max.

Nothing beats the flexibility of working from home!!

I work as a Telecom Sales Agent.

Even in these turbulent times, it still pays well (and it doesn't get boring).

I work from home as well for the most part and travel to client sites once or twice a month.

The bad part is not having any women to, shall we say, "discuss things" with on a daily basis. Yeah, that.

I have a 8-4 job everyday, but have my own schedule and agenda. Almost everyday, I shedule a 1 hour meeting at my house with myslef and myslef to delegate meetings between my couch and my T.V. Another hour is spent on driving around and doing errands in my Max, not to mention the two hours for lunch and the hour I come in late everyday. Dang, it's almost like working from home for me!

But you do have me beat when you can spend a whole day on your car during the week...

You call that work??

That does sound like a good day. Sounds like you put in a solid 3 hours a day. Don't work to hard, I don't want you to have a heart attack

Tell me about it...that's why my company was ranked amongst the top 5 in the nation to work for in employee satisfaction. You gotta love macro-managment techniques!

Depending where you are in school, you could go to a local advertising agency and see about getting an internship with their Public Relations Department. I was at an advertising agency before going out on my own and that was where I made the connection with Talladega Superspeedway. It is great!!!

Actually I enjoy not having to put a bunch of miles on my car just for commuting. Plus commutes are always slow as hell. I don't mind driving on the freeway if I can go 80+, but sitting in 10mph traffic on the same stretch of road is painful.
yeah, thats the obvious negative part to the commute. But for me, I only live a few blocks from where I work, and here in Omaha, there's some kind of weird traffic condition...basically, you dont have to worry about speeding tickets, because the only time traffic allows you to even go the speed limit (most of the time even on the interstate) is anytime past 11:00PM at night. And we have like, light traffic. So driving for me is never the 120mph+ speed-driven blast it is normally for most people on the .org, but my stereo makes even rush hour enjoyable.
