I like my max a lot, and I think its a great car, but it just doenst seem to peform well anymore (I think my tranny is going) maybe this is because i've driven much more high performance cars. my parents have a '87 corvette (5.7L- 245hp) and a '99 BMW 540i(4.4L- 282hp) I know those are both V8's and its comparing apples to oranges here, but my max just cant pull lots of power. I'm going to get the frankencar mid pipe and hope that helps the stillen intake...but for all you guys with autos out there, other than exhaust upgrades and SC or NOS, what are some mods you guys really like to get you max moving pretty quick? I AM DYING FOR MY MAXIMA TO GO FAST!!!!! I know I have only one performance mod, but something has to be wrong with my car, it just feels way too slow.

or maybe I'm just dreaming too big from those other cars and hoping for performance I'll never get from the maxima

 

Do a search for MEVI and also pull codes from your ECU to check for a knock sensor issue. Do searches to find out more about these.
