help with stock maxima

I have a 96 white stock maxima. I want to make some changes. I have ordered new lights, and corners so far. I need a little help on what to do in the performance area. I am really not a car person. I am pretty sure i am going to do the B-pipe and a new muffler. With these changes should i also upgrade the catalytic converter?

I have also seen an air intake adapter at procarparts.com. Will this do anything? I have added the link below.

http://www.procarparts.com/store/dis...IS-ADAPTV6-AIS

I was also wanting to lose some of the sway that i get when i go around corners. I assume the anti say bar from custommaxima.com would take care of this?

I am thinking about getting eagle 007 18" rims. What do you think?

Like I said before i really dont know anything about cars so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

i like those rims, but are they chrome? if so, i would try to find them in silver.

performance wise, get yourself a Y pipe, thats the best performance gain for the money you pay.

get a front strut tower bar, and a rear sway bar, that should improve your handling. also, lowering springs and new shocks will improve your handling significantly.

just too many aftermarket parts for people to explain.

check out custommaxima.com, cattman.com, http://store.yahoo.com/southwestauto...re/index.html, and look for some parts you like. and search the forum about people's opinion. go to other people's homepage and check out their mods. take some time to do the research.

but I can tell you, most maxima people think the intake, y-pipe, and swaybar are the best mods for the buck. probably lowering with some spring with KYB AGX is the second best mod. of course, every car needs the rims.

The rims are polished. I want to add a little sound but not too much. If i add the Y pipe, and the B pipe, and a flowmaster muffler will it add a lot of noise?
