Order Now Direct! Brembo Gran Turismo front brake systems

***I'd started out by having people contact me directly for pricing information, but time is running out. You can get that information directly, and place your order at the same time, through our 800.759.9920 line; ask for Lorie***

For a very limited time, Cattman Performance is offering the complete Brembo Gran Turismo front brake kits at a very significantly reduced price.

A few things are certain about the Brembo kits:

1. they are the best production brakes in the world for any application they make
2. they are quite expensive
3. they never go on sale (and Brembo will cut off any distributor who publicly does so)

#s 2 and 3 are temporarily suspended! Brembo is overstocked and there are a few kits for the Nissan Maxima and Sentra, and the Infiniti I30 and G20 that are available (quietly) at a SIGNIFICANTLY reduced price, basically dropping from the retail to the wholesale price.

I can't include the price, but contact Lorie at my ordering line (800.759.9920) and she'll provide the pricing information.

Pictures on my website at www.cattman.com (under "brakes"). Lots of technical information and pics at www.brembo.com. Not sure which caliper colors are available.

Check your wallet, ask your friends and let me know if you're interested. Right away. I haven't seen a deal on the Brembos like this before. Make no mistake, they're still pricy, but for the type of person who will only settle for the best, this is a great opportunity!

Thanks Brian.

I was just looking up the MSRP for these the other day for my 3rd Gen.

If they have ANY kind of discount, that'd be a definite plus, I'm sure. I only wish I could win the lottery or have a rich uncle kick funds my way!

Sorry, I should have been more clear. The front brake set is only available for the 1995-2001 Maximas and I30s.

So will these work with my stock 16" 5-spoke 1997 SE rims?

I cannot guarantee that they will fit on any particular rims, but can say in this case that they are for 17" rims. You wouldn't want people to have to peer through those little holes to see your cool new brakes.

Act now, supplies dwindling, and why there are no rear sets

Let me say first that the response has been good to this offer, but if you're thinking about making a move please do so because supplies are low and this could be over at any time. Note that all 3 caliper colors (silver, red and black) are still available.

Regarding rear brakes...

Since the front brakes do between 80-90% of the stopping, Brembo makes rear applications for very few cars -- they could be categorized as the cars we all dream about but are not likely to own ;-)

They explain this rationale thoroughly in the FAQ section of their site (www.brembo.com).

They suggest that the front Gran Turismos be supplemented with Brembo rotors (slotted or drilled) in the rear (available a variety of places, but we don't carry them). Note also that the Maxima would be a particularly challenging (and quite expensive) application for aftermarket rear brakes. Cattman looked into making rears once upon a time, but the price goes way high because a separate bracket and caliper are required for the parking brake.

I bought these for a really good deal used, with two sets of new pads. Let me say that these brakes are truly awesome. They are very friendly with the master cylinder and you'll really appreciate the consistent braking power. I have 17X8 SSR Integrals with a 32mm offset and they just clear (blame it on the spoke design). The only issue I noticed is the brakelines. In order to have the bleed screws at the top (which they should be), the brakeline mount is at the bottom. I have the Goodridge SS lines and I think they are just .5" too short when you turn the wheel completely one way or the other. There are lines that with the kit, but I'm going to call Brembo and ask how essential it is to have the bleed screws up. If you mount the caliper the other way, the brakelines won't be an issue. Oh yeah, it took me 1 hour to install these suckers. Very straight forward.

Wait no more, the Cattman Performance stainless steel 1999-2001 CA/NLEV pipes are in stock and have been selling for a couple of weeks. Nothing but great feedback on the fit, finish, and quality of materials an subcomponents. I'm really impressed with the TIG welding this company does.

The 1999-2001 (if there is a 2001) Fed-spec pipes have been available for a couple of months. They are in stock now and ready to ship.

They are identical to the 1995-1998 pipes, except they have a very robust hanger toward the back that matches up with the one on the stock pipe. Without that hanger, everything sags a little.

Let me know directly if you want pictures (or someone tell me how to size the darned things for posting in a message like this -- sorry to be so remedial).

Brian,

This maybe a long shot but...I have upgraded rotors, brake pads, brake fluid and SS lines already. I'd love to have thos front Calipers though... would you sell them separately or is this just a package deal?

5th gen stock rotors are about 10" in diameter. The ones in the GD are about 12.9. In other words... it won't work.

Kevin's right, gentlemen. And, besides, Brembo won't sell its Gran Turismo equipment except as sets. FOr the same reason they totally manufacture and addemble the kits themselves, it eliminates variables that they have no control over (and the attendant MASSIVE liability issues). As a business, you can't be too careful about selling brakes. That's why I only sell the complete Brembo system. If there's a lawsuit, it will leap over my head and land on theirs.

.. I meant the Volk wheel caps you have ... do they fit & clear the hub if I have the TE-37's?

What'd these cost you? Maybe I'll order one and see how it fits!

I thought you meant calipers when you said caps.

I'm not really sure, but $40 a piece is an expensive project.
