Your 60' time are high. If you're more aggressive on take-off, you can cure that problem. My 60' was 2.27.

What do you mean more agressive??? You mean launch harder or something.....

Your 60fts are killing you.

Either power brake it or flash the TC to get a better launch.

I use to just power brake @ 1700rpms.

Also, it doesnt matter if you have OD on or Off. Over Drive is 4th gear only. By having it off it will eliminate using 4th gear.

People will always say its faster with the OD off. Obviously they are NOT mechanics.

I would also leave the car in "D". The purpose of having an auto transmission is for it shift itself.

Just some food for though.

Well, when I'm at the line and the third light activates, I let it rip. I mean I floor it. I don't shift manually because it confuses the transmission and slows the shifts. When I want the gears to shift quickly, I feather the accelerator when I get to redline in each gear and the gear drops without hesitation(almost close to like having the VB mod).

shifting and OD on or totally different things though. you could manually shift your car, and still leave OD on, that wont change a thing.

Not really, With most autos if you keep OD off up to about 80-85mph and then turn OD on your rpms will actually jump about 200 rpm!

That may be true for your car, but mine is faster by about .15-.2 when I manually shift. It will definately be faster manually shifting now since I have the VI.

how do u "feather" ?? like when it gets to 6k rpm u let off a little (like 80% throttle?) then once it shift u hammer it again?
