Any one know where to get a good deal on an infinity bass link?

My girlfriend just bought a basslink from circuit city for what seems to me as a rediculas amount of $$ for what is essentially a 10"sub/amp/box combo. She is dead set on the bass link though, I was just wondering if any one sold infinity products here or knew of a less expensive place to pick one up. Thanks if any one has any info.

Re: Any one know where to get a good deal on an infinity bass link?

What did she pay for it? Did that include install? Which unit the regular one or the Basslink X? The Basslink is a great unit, and its a little more then a sub amp box combo. Its 2 10" subs, one active one passive and they are servo controlled subs which gives you greater control over the woofer. The unit should also include the EBC(electronic Bass Controler) which allows you to control the level from inside the car. You could try to find a dealer near you but MAP is the same price CC sells it for. Trust me, buy it from an authorized dealer and not from some no name webdealer. It hurts everyone in the long run. For more info or a dealer locator check the link below.

So far she has spent $425on the basslink and tax. Im going to put it in for her this wekend unless I find a better deal. She still needs to buy the power/ground/remote turn on wires. If I let them install it they would want like $50 and probably try to make her buy some over priced wire kit. I have wired up alarms, subs, heads etc so im sure this will be a snap. And this way I can let her listen to it in various positions before drilling in to her new jeeps trunk. I hear you on respecting the whole priceing/auth dealer network. But the CC here is terrible and I would have much rather bought if from some one on the org who was able to get infinity products. Thanks for the input and site link.

Yeah, it looks like the website is down right now. He has a good rep on ebay under the name Scala1, you can e-mail him through there if you are really interested. The good thing about him is the warranty, you'll have to ship the sub back to him if it breaks though.

DON'T buy from IKE Sounds!!!!!!!!! He is not an authorized dealer and has caused many a headache for us. I understand that everyone wants a deal but when you buy from an unauthorized web dealer everyone looses.

No arguing, just offering a counterpoint: I have ordered from ikesound with no problems. Assuming that you do not abuse the product, you should be fine. Sure, it is a pain to do the return directly to infinity, but they and RF have both been great about returns since I first got into stereos in '93. Just my opinion, take it of leave it.

True, he is not an authorized dealer, but he backs everything with his own one year warranty, IMO just as good. He has been around for a long while, so I doubt he's going anywhere. What kind of headaches has he caused you?
