New IonicDynamics spoiler for 4th gen!!

Hi:

I have been working on new products for the Nissan community and we have just finished the 99'J spec wing for the 300zx and I noticed that it would fit the 4th gen very nicely.

So we have decided to go ahead and make it fit the 4th gen exactly. It will be available next week and the introductory price will be 240+ shipping for the spoiler with no led light and 270+shipping for the spoiler with the brake led light (that will be available in three weeks). If we can get more buyers I'm sure that I can get a lower price from my manufacturer.

To view some pics please click on this link http://www.ionicdynamics.com/Gallerymax32wing.html

We are going to call this spoiler the "IonicZ spoiler"

Thanks!

Jose.

It looks good...

One concern for those of us with stock wings... the mounting holes are different?

How about a front spoiler lip that doesn't reduce clearance?

Cool!

As for the stock holes, I'm assuming it's not trivial to do a separate with with posts at the stock locations?

Hmm..not bad. Looks like its a bit higher and wider than the stock spoiler. But not too wild.

I might be interested in a few months when I run out of primary mods to do to my car.

BTW, are those black chrome altezzas or CF?

NICE! That rear wing would give the car a little more of an aggresive look. I think you should look into working with the stock wing so that you can increase the number of people wanting to order. Do what you like, but there is a lot of people out there that are willing to buy it...IF it could mount to the stock holes.

Thanks guys!!

Since this was origanally a 300zx wing I didn't think about getting it to fit the OEM maxima holes. I'm going to talk with my designer and we will try to find some way to make it fit the OEM holes.

I just have one question, how many holes does the OEM spoiler have, is it just held by the middle posts or is it held down by all four posts?

See ya all later!

The oem spoiler has 9 holes total with 8 of them being mounting holes and 1 for the led wire to run through. There are 2 large ones on both sides, on the outside of the trunk. The measurement from the center of the hole for the outside holes is 1/2 an inch from the trunk line. The other smaller holes are in between the middle of the trunk and the outside holes. They are 11 - 11 1/2 inches from the outside holes ( the outside holes are not exactly above and below one another there is a 1/2 inch difference from left to right). The 9th hole is in between the two smaller holes on the left side. Something like this:
'\''X'''''x''''''''''x''''X''/
''\''X''''x''''''''''x'''X''/
I would be VERY interested if it fit existing oem holes.

how come all production pics are always done in a shady looking alleyway? I would be interested in one if it covered stock holes... I don't think that the I30 and Maxima have the same hole pattern though.
