I just got my flowmaster 40 series muffler today and I am really excited but I dont know why. I'm gonna have it put on early this week (mon-weds sometime) and I'll let you guys all know how it sounds. I just hope its not too loud, a kid at my school got a ticket thismorning for his exhaust being to loud.

 

if you have no other performance mods (and still have your stock resonator), it will have a subtle sound.

I'm going to have the resonator taken off, and I have a stillen intake as well.

 

At first after you get it installed, you'll think "what the hell, i can't hear the difference!" Wait a couple of days or so, and your car will sound louder. I didn't know cars had to get used to things like mufflers and such , but they do...

 

I just had my resonator taken off today, it was all rusted out like hell, the metal clamps were completely rusted through and just broke right off, and the insulation part was very messy too, hopefully that will help bring out the sound a bit.
