I failed my smog pretty badly haha (my 97 Max 5spd) maybe I'll scan the results one of these days but I was 5 times over the legal limit for NO at 25mph @1662 rpm and my HydroCarbons were pretty high too I passed the CO but barely

hmmm I know I can bolt the stock exhaust back and to run hot but anyone know of more tips?

My plan is to run race gas 4-5 gallons or so run a lil bit hot and then see what happens but I would like more ideas if you guys can help out

did you have your car fully warmed up before you got tested?

 

did u have your cat gutted??? or u just punched out the pre-cats on the y pipe?

 

get a working cat and make sure the car is warm when you get it tested....

 

car was parked in the garage for two months prior hahaha so that contributes.. I have a Random Tech Cat but it might be melted cuz of Nitrous... and hmmmm the smog place didnt keep the car warm...

I'm hopin for some more ideas so I can pass for sure hehe or without swapping back to stock exhaust

 

tips:
1. Get ahold of OddJob
2. Ask him where his smog hook up is.
3. Go to his smog hook up.
4. Pay him the money.
5. Driveaway knowing you passed smog
