Finally got a max!!!

Some of you might know me...I was "J9CIV9" I've been looking for max for a long time, and finally got a 99 SE-L today. It's black, and 5-speed, only 38k miles. I do have a question though. The car has the badge "SE Limited" on it. The "maxima" on the back is in titanium writing, and it actually looks like the rims are a dif. color, but i might be wrong. Anyway, I thought the "SE-L" came with a bose system, leather, and floor mats that said "SE" on them. My car has none of that, it also does not have the climate control. Could it be that someone just put the badge there, or is this really a SE-L? Anyway, thanks for the help, and I look forward to being a member of the forum.

BTW: I already have a ZEX nitrous kit, frankencar intake, clear corners, and 17" gunmetal rims waiting to be put on (just need to find the time). I'll have pics up soon, thanks.

Can't help you out w/ the SE-L questions but congratulations on the purchase. I have a 95 $E and swear by it. You'll be well on your way w/ the mods you've mentioned. May I ask why you went w/ the ZEX kit?

my 99 SE-L super black came as a strippy. no leather, no sun roof, no fancy climate controls, no ABS, no hot chicks in it.. but it did come with 7 original miles, titanium trim and rims, kick *** bose stereo, and the SE mats. i beat the dealer for 500 on the deposit. bringing the price down to 18,500 hehehe.. so i told him to throw in the stock mud guards and the extended warranty.. so, no major mods until the warranty is up.

good luck wih your Maxipad, and what ever possessed you to waste your money on a honder

hey, yes it has body colored door handles. It also has a sunroof and spoiler, cruise control, power driver's seat, and I'm not sure about ABS. I payed $14,700 for it, not bad I guess for only 38k miles. Honestly, I went with the zex kit because I got a real good deal on it, and I like the idea of it kicking in by itself on open throttle. I also checked it out on carfax.com, and it was a company car in new jersey, so I doubt it's a "fake" SE. Well, thanks for the help...
