Did anyone change the lights next to the head lights? If so is it legal?

 

change them to what? theres a writeup in the FAQ about how to rewire them so they're bright.

 

im assuming he means take out the stock...umm whatevers in there, and put in some kinda hyper white bulb? lots of people, including myslf, it lights up white at night, so i guess its legal..

Short: I don't know if it's legal.

Long: I rewired mine & put Eurolite bulbs in to match my headlights. I'm assuming it's legal being that it's basically the higer watt cornering light that came with the car, but I don't know. When I pull up next to people, the light shines real bright on the side of their car so it might be. I haven't had any problems for police & it looks much better.

 

I actually did that mod this weekend (to make them brighter) and I didn't see the FAQ. Anyway I used Piaa Superwhite bulbs and it come out very well. As far as legal goes, a cop won't pull you over for it. But getting through inspection is a entirely different issue.
