2nd Group Deal (Japan) 50-50

:WARNING PRICE MIGHT CHANGE DEPENDING ON EXCHANGE RATE OF WHEN YOU ORDER:

Once again this isn't really a group deal cause I'm locked down at a commission rate with my supplier with the first orders I put in. So, I don't have to wait for a certain number of people to order. You order one and I'll send it to start the process. But, the biggest news is that my contact will now accept 50% now to start the order and 50% due during the week of the shippment!!! The current prices for the VIs are as follows.

This is prices for VIs shipped EMS: 4-7 weeks once I recieve the money:
Price for Pay Pal payment: $565
Price for Money order payment: $550

VI with engine cover:
Price for Pay Pal Payment: $640
Price for Money Order Paymets: $620

If you want it shipped Sea Frieght: 8-12 weeks once I recive your money:
Price for Pay Pal payment: $505
Price for Money order payment: $490

If you want it shipped Sea Frieght: 8-12 weeks once I revieve your Money:
Price for Pay Pal payment: $575
Price for Money order payment: $560

Unfortunately because the VI cover is about $50 the one problem is that this item shipped because it is EMS. Cost another $45 dollars to ship. So, if you order this piece seperately it might be smarter to get some people together to buy several so the shipping doesn't cost so much.

Engine cover for the VI:

Price for Pay Pal: $100
Price for Money Order: $95

Here is the site you can go to to check out what is needed.
http://www.vanillaice.com/webmasters/hype/mrc/mevi.htm

To make this work you will need to purchase an RPM switch, Dawes device/MAP baro switch (from a 3rd gen or a pulsar NX from a junk yard), vacuum tubing, vacuum canister, and some electrical wire. But, you can check out the site listed above to check it out. I have a kit that I will make available to people that want to save the time of not going out and finding everything they will need. Here is the price of the kit.

Installation Kit:

$135 MO/Check
$140 Paypal

Price might be more expensive after the first few orders...but this is the first test run...not to sure on the shipping which might increase the price on later orders after I've done several kits.

Hope that helps, any questions feel free to shoot me an email,

John

Re: 2nd Group Deal (Japan) 50-50

Have you thought about offering the VI with everything needed to install it like in an optional kit for extra $$$? This would be good for someone like me who would just like to order the VI and kit, hand everything to my mechanic, and let him do his thing.

Yeah I've actually thought about it...but in the long run it would actually save you 20-30 dollars to get the stuff yourself. So, it really isn't cost effective to do it that way. Sorry

It might be cost effective for you if you have a bunch a lazy people. Maybe it would be more appealing to those who want to get a big box and take it to mechanic.

Very true...if there is enough interest in this I can do it...or I guess if someone wants to pay the extra 20-30 dollars I would be willing to get all the parts together and send them out to you. So if anybody is interested in doing it that way just let me know by dropping me an email and I'll get you a total price on the kit. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'd pay $20-30 extra for the convenience factor. Like he said, I would buy this now if you offered the stuff all together so I could take a big box to my mechanic ...

Let me know if you get this together; I'd be the first to buy!

I'll figure out the price and let you know. Should have a total for you in like 2-5 days. I'll keep you informed.

Do you want that shipped EMS (4-7weeks) or Sea frieght (8-12weeks).

I was going over all you need

I think I will sell the kit for an extra like $160-180. That will include the extra shipping and everything with the extra wire, vacuum tubing, crimps, T's, vacuum canister, RPM switch, and Dawes device (or I can get the part from the junk yard and save you maybe 10-20 dollars). But, going to double check on everything. So, if your interested just add that on to the total price and you should be set, and that is priority mail...I can look around to see if it is any cheaper to ship another way...but that's why it is so expensive is because it is about 12KG which is about $40 dollars for shipping...So, if you want a kit I can get you a kit together. You would just have to assemble everything...and it runs about being 50 dollars more expensive for the kit over getting the parts yourself because of the extra shipping factor.

Hope that helps out some people,
John

I just thought of something

To save the money on the 2 seperate shippings...I can have the VI sent to you and then I can send the kit in a seperate package for the VI therefore the kit would only cost about 120-140. Just an idea...instead of paying that money to get the VI sent to me then have to pay to have the package sent to you. Just a thought...figure this would work out better. I will double check all my figures and repost the total price for the kit at the beginning of the post. But roughly 120-140 is what it looks like it is going to be.

Sounds like a better price than the earlier post. I wouldn't mind paying a lil extra for a total package than to hunt for it myself

This makes more since to do it this way so you save money on shipping. Maybe I should erase the other reply.

Variable Intake = VI.
It gives a lot of power in the top end range, more specifically I think past 5k rpms. Sorta like Honda's VTEC...that's how I think of it.

So Mr. Cranman...are you collecting $ as of now?
One small question...how long do u think it would take for a mechanic who has never done a VQ b4? The mechanic I would go to (for convenience) does engine swaps like crazy for Honda's, but has never touched a VQ to my knowledge.

I am interested in an EMS total package (VI, cover, extras). It would make my life alot easier and have no problem paying $20-$30 more

Don't accept credit cards though, correct?

I do accept credit cards you just have to use your Credit Card through paypal. So, if you interested let me know and I'll order it for you.

Well, if your looking for the total package It is whatever price you choose on the first page plus about ~$130 is what it is going to run. And then just split it. Or you can shoot me an email and I can get the info you need. Figure out what you would owe.

Yes I'm accepting and collecting money now so if you want to order just let me know and I will get the order in. It seriously should take a mechanic that has done engine swaps that long at all to put the VI on. Especially if they deal with imports and do engine swaps. I would say it would take roughly 2-3 hours. My friend and I with no power tools and just taking our time can get one done in about 3 hours. Our first time doing it took about 4 hours...but it is a real easy job. Hope that helps,

John

VI kit

I think I have the kit together now. I'm going to start the kit at $135 MO/Check and $140 for paypal. I'll post it on the first page. The price might possibly go up but for the first few orders it will stay at this price. The way that it works is I'll make the kit and send it to you seperately while the VI is sent directly from my supplier to you. So, you'll have 2 packages with all the stuff you need to install it.

What the two boxes contain

If you choose that you want me to do the leg work and get all the stuff together that you need to install it...then this is what is included in the second package you'll get.

RPM Switch (Harlan 90day warranty)
Map/Baro Switch (dawes device)
Relay switch
Vacuum canister (Napa/Nissan)
~3ft 5/32 vacuum tubing
~6ft of electrical wire
Crimps
Zip ties
"T"
Vacuum Check valve

And that is it

ok Mr. Cranman...I'm gonna show my mechanic the schematics whenever I go do my exhaust (should be around early next week). If he can do it, then I will most likely order

BTW, how reliable is it to have it shipped via Sea Freight?

It is really reliable to have it shipped Sea Frieght. But, it just takes forever. No matter how you ship it the parts are insured so if for some reason they are damaged or never show up you will get your replacements. But, haven't had any problems w/either shipment method!!!
