Interesting brake rotor here... show cars?

I found this rotor to be interesting. it looks like this

It says theres an application for the 95-99 Max. I thought you show car guys would be interested in this. Who knows maybe the car will stop better. Too bad this company doesnt have a big brake kit out. If I had nothin else to blow $ on I'd get some so you can see them under my 17" chrome momo's. For more info www.thebrakeman.com

I saw some writeups for this in a Supra article in Import 2ner magazine...they reduce weight of the rotor but keep full contact space with pads...

Am I looking at those wrong or would the pad be able to have full "contact" of the entire side. when the hump was at the top of the pad ok, but what about when the "dip" in the rotor was in the caliper?

Or is it not that big of a grove cut out?

It just looks as if it would not have full contact

Some mountain bikes have disk brakes and you can buy rotors that look like saw blades. I'm planning on getting some for mine one of these days.....

I talked to "thebrakeman" after I saw the S2000 at ATCO Raceway this summer in jersey and he told me he took a GSXR 750 brake rotor and modified it to fit on cars.. now he has all kinds of applications and whatnot, he said he was going to make the maxima ones, but I think it's going to be one of this if 5-10 people don't order he isn't going to do it.

Isn't more mass generally better, since they act as heatsinks? I guess these would be better for racing applications without much stopping, rather than Auto-X.
