new diy brakes
So its time for new front brake pads. I know stillen has some for a little less than 50 bucks, and on nopi.com there are some matrix racing ones for like 30. Does anyone have any preference or experiance with good pads? I am going to install them myself.
thanks, matt

I've heard good things about Performance Friction pads on the max. Best thing about them is they are only $30. If I were just buying pads for street use, these are what I would go with.
I recommend the Porterfield RS4 pads. They are the most expensive pads that fit stock calipers, but I think most people will agree that they also have the best fade free stopping power. I was a bit dissapointed in the life of my front Porterfields (25k). But I still liked them enough to get them again! Fronts were $70.
Other good pads I have heard are the Axxis Metalmasters. They are the same as the Stillen Pads (same exact pad), and run around $45 for the fronts.
