whats the difference between the konis and the tokicos

Konis are adjustable and tokicos aren't.....

adjustable in stiffness that is, and as far as Tokicos for a 3rd gen there aren't any adjustable ones yet(don't know about 4th gens, etc.), but they are in production. oh yeah, price too, Tokicos are a couple hundred less!

assuming im to lazy to ever adjust the konis are they better in any other way

Well.......

if you're a hardcore racer, and you want superb body control, etc. I'd go with Konis, but for regular performance Toks are cool. I've also heard Konis work better when using lowering springs lower than 1.75"(ie-Sprint 2" drops), but thats all opinion!!! but stiffness adjustment is the only advantage!!
