Warpspeed Performance?

I was just browsing their website, and I noticed that they have a y-pipe for the '02's. Am I mistaken, and if not has anyone bought it yet.

It says "available shortly" further down. I also called them and they said maybe another week or so. So, who knows when.

Boys, the 2002 y-pipes are on several cars. Independent dyno testing is being done and will be posted here soon hopefully within a week. I saw several of them when I was in Arkansas recently at our shop. Please be just a little more patient. We want all to go well, so were not rushing. I think Lynne has already started taking names. We will post here when we are ready. Thanks for all your interest.

Dan, are the 2k-2k1 y-pipes being tested also. Will they be available the same time the 2k2's come out?

sweet. Didn't know they were available yet for the 2k's. I don't recall seeing any posts about it. How long did it take to get the y-pipe?

Cutlr7...... Are you testing the Y-Pipe and doing R&D for Warpspeed? Or is that the finished product that's ready for the market.

All of the 5th Gen Y's are still in pre-production status. I spoke w/ Lynn @ Warpspeed today - they're very busy responding to e-mails & answering phone calls about this issue alone - lets back off of the a bit, and let them finish the products.

i sent them some e-mails, and they were VERY quick to get back to me. the test car is going for a dyno test this week i believe, they want to know true #'s for the piece. I was told its not going to give as much power as the 4th gen cars, but at least 10-12HP. combine that with the INJEN (8-12) and thats some nice power adders!!!

im gettin mine from them, just becuase the e-mail responses were so quick and professional!!

2K2 Y pipe dyno results shortly

We just got the dyno results of our 2002 2.5" collector Y pipe with our 2.5" B pipe. I was a little surprised with the results considering we did not eliminate the pre-cats on the engine. Larry (our test person) owns a 2002 Maxima (I believe an automatic) and has quite a few years experience in the racing/performance business. He will be posting the results along with photos of the dyno sheets shortly.

We will probably have our high flow metallic substrate converter tested as well as the 2.25" B pipe.
Our 1999.5-2001 Y pipes will be available shortly as well as the 2002, we are just finishing the jigs (hopefully by Monday).

Thanks to all of you who wished our Mom well, as some of you know she recently broke her hip and was in ICU for a few days after surgery, we were pretty worried. It sounds as though she'll be released (using a walker) next Tuesday.

When the Dr. told her she was getting out the first thing she asked was "when would she be able to drive again?". Go figure.

regards
Dallas
