bone stock 94gxe, 5990???

i was at a major dealer in my town, saw this in the lot and decided to check it out. had no bose, no sunroof, AT, no leather, cheap *** CD player, and about 110,000 miles (matches my 90 max.)the paint and body was in fairly good shape, but it got to me that this car could possibly go for that price and if i tried to sell my black beauty, which would be a much better buy, i'd be lucky to get 4K out of it...

whatchy'all think?? is their price justifiable? is my car worth more than i think? am i a cry baby?

p.s. this thread is just an icebreaker topic

eh

Dealers have a pretty big mark-up, from a private party that car would be about 1k less probably. People "trust" dealers more for some crazy reason that I'll never understand, and think that it's less of a risk buying from a user car dealer than a private party.

An example: I was thinking about trading in my fully loaded 93 SE w/ 107k miles for a new black SE-R VSpec, but they said they could only offer me $3000 trade-in for my car!? Total BS. It's MINT. They had a GXE on their lot without any options going for $6500. WTF!? They would probably try to turn around and sell mine for $7000 and get it. I'm having trouble selling mine for $5900 private party because people are more skeptical to buy that way
