DYNAMAT question

I am gonna go crazy these coming weekends and start dynamatting my car.
My primary goal is to achieve reduced road noise, so i was told that Dynamat Extreme would be best because Dynamat regular wouldnt help much. True?
ANd the most important question.
WHere can i get the cheap stuff. I know dynamt extreme isnt the only one. ANy online websiters where i can order the generic stuff. Need enough to do a whole 5th gen max.

Dynamat products will do VERY little to reduce road noise. They are designed to absorb vibrations and reduce unwanted noise caused by your speakers in door cavities, trunks, etc. If your primary goal is to reduce road noise then you will need to buy some sort of barrier material, which is way more expensive.

B-Quiet makes some Vcomp and Lcomp stuff. Stereodude did this and I belive he was happy with the results. Mcmaster also has quite a few barrier products, as well as Dynamat alternatives that cost less. At this site, use their search engine and type in "sound control".
