I was flipping thru the Sunday ads and saw that O'reilly auto parts has an APC front strut tower bar for $29. I'm sure it's aluminum. Those of you who have fstb's...are your's aluminum? If so, is $29 a good deal? Or should I just wait and by a steel fstb?

 

$29 is a good price. Most, if not all, the FSTBs out there are made of aluminum, I believe. I got mine on eBay from DirectCarParts. I see some there for $19.99 now. If you can get it locally for about $30, then that should be good since once you factor in eBay seller shipping, it'll come out between $30 to $45, depending on the bar you get.

 

I'm waiting on the Cattman titanium fstb, supposed to be the best, using 2 bars and serious performance and eye candy. Set up to compete with the $tealin....

 

You might be wary of anything from APC. However, this is just a strut bar. It's pretty hard to screw one up, y'know?
