b/c one of my friend got the UDP on his car and he didn't see any difference on the dyno but it was for talon and not for maxima...

As far as the pulley is concerned it does work. I just got one from UR. It was a pain to put in but I did notice a difference. I have a 96 Maxima which I am in the process of making into a low 14 second daily driver. I just ordered the CAI and I will go form there. I ran a disappointing 16.1 aty 85mph. But I am told by many that it is the average for that year considering I have an auto. I would recommend the pulley absolutely.

PS-How much is the y pipe?

Caution on the Y pipe. I got the Stillen and lost a butt load of back pressure. My 1st gear which was super punch, got squiched to a poofy fart. I have an auto this might have added to the 1st gear problem, but I'd tell you its the only upgrade I regret, and I tried quite a few.

 

damn.... but i seen so many people talk about how good of an upgrade the y pipe is...

 

It was my first bolt on, I got the impression that it would have been a little more benificial if I had done it later on. I think after NOS or Supercharger when I started to push some horses the air really needed to get out, but being the first bolt on if felt like I just added a gapping hole. There was nothing present creating any air to push out. But thats just my impression I really don't have the technical backround to back it up.

I've heard people say that they see 2-5hp on dyno, but it revs much quicker, hence, getting through the gears faster, and lowering your 1/4 times... Seems to me like a good price on these are due again.
