RVM Racing Maxima 95-01 3.0L Light Underdrive Crank Pulley Group Deal

Hello, this is DohcCivicNA1250", one of the managers at RVMracing.com. We have made our newest application of a Lightened and Underdrive crank pulley for the Maxima 95-01 3.0L Engines. It is a fully machined aluminum piece with a Stainless Steel metal timing ring. These are very high quality. Also, available in Silver Only.
We had these custom machined based on our specs and test install. These are underdrive, so they will require shorter belts. Full installation Instructions are included as well.

We want to help promote them by giving away 3 for free to well repsected Maxima.org member's so they can give us the feedback on them, as our protoype guy was ecstatic.

We want to find 3 well repsected Maxima.org members to use the pullies, and write in on their likes and dislikes. If you think you can help us, and got the reputation to back it, please post to the thread.

Prices of the Pullies to the Org members will be 72.99 per pulley. These will be starting to be sold once we get our 3 test guys responses.

it wil easily fit if you remove the timing ring.

Gee that thing looks exactly like the UR UDP except for the missing drilled center.

What is the weight and the diameter??

Damn, who cares what it looks like, if it fits, and does what its supposed to do. Its half the price of a UR pully. How 'bout some holes in it though, save more weight, what is the weight compared to stock and UR. What about the 02 Max, i'd love to test one of them.

Obviously you care what it looks like because you made the exact same comment that I did about the extra needed weight savings.

Quite honestly, I don't care what it looks like, I said to put holes in it to lighten it. This is going to be buried so far in the engine compartment that nobody will see it.

I'd be happy to try one out and if not, I'm willing to buy one. I have a 5spd, super charger, reprogrammed ECU, and plenty of other things. I can take pictures of the install, weights, and post results, let me know

Not even with a part that you don't need and can't use? Look at the pictures again, it's the same pulley as the UR and all you do to make them fit on a 2K2 is unbolt that back ring (like i did with my UR UDP when it cam in).

I'm willing to test one out as well. I'm not sure how you are going to go about figuring out who's "well respected" on this board thought.

Things that might qualify me are:

Close to 100 1/4 mile passes this summer.
One of the quickest N/A Maximas on this board, only SR20DEN and MaximaOdum have run quicker passes.
One of the few to track test the recently discovered MEVI which I've taken the time to purchase and install, only about 10 people on this board have done the same, most have not track tested it though.

Most of the people who replied on this thread are "well respected", there's only a couple who I don't recognize.

Well Nealoc and dmbmaxima2k2 are the two names on here I recognize the most and I feel are very well respected. They both also make very informitive posts on mods after they do them. If Steve (dmbmaxima2k2) is willing to dyno this after he puts it on that is a huge plus even though I would rather see dynos on a fourth gen Max. Nealoc does lots of track time as he posted so hopefully he would be able to see if the underdrive pully made a difference at the track.

This was a mod I was considering and if this is as good as the Unorthodox for half the price I just might get it. To bad I just replaced my belts

You might also want to choose someone who bought an intake kit from you

Re: remember me?

I would test it but I'm sure he has already found everyone he needs for a test dummy. On the other hand, I'm interested in dyno #'s etc... If this shows any improvment on the dyno before/after I would most likely buy one.

Re: Re: RVM Racing Maxima 95-01 3.0L Light Underdrive Crank Pulley Group Deal

Thanks to all for the replies. We have decided to release 4 free pullies, we chose from all ends of the spectrum. One is a 3.5L 02 Maxima, 2 are mid modified 5 speed's, and one is very mild modded automatic. All pullies have been sent out, so if you 4 guys know who you are, the pullies left with full instructions. If you can add anything to te instructions, please tell us too. I figure we will have results in about 2 weeks. Thank you all again for the time, and dont get mad if we missed you, its just that people got in ahead of you. Thanks again. Also, we have moved from college point to our new location in West Hempstead, NY. We now have huge amount of inventory, especially rims from Konig, Enkei, and ROH, all in stock too. (sorry for the plug)

hows the quality compared to the Unorthodox racing UDP?? I had one a while back but sold it. But im now looking to get one again.

Would they use the same size gates belts that the UR UDP used??

thanks,

Anthony

I didnt know we can plug in our site, its www.RVMRacing.com. We are added more things day by day on it. When the test fits are over, we will release them to the public. The quality is alomost spot on near perfect. Only problem i can see ever happening is that UPS damages the pulley, but we wrap it in bubble wrap 4 times, so thats unlikely.

The pulley will use the same size as the UDP, we give Gates sizes, since we do believe they are the strongest, and best built, plus they are also made in the USA.

So far 1 or 2 of the guys should have the pullies, and i hope they will install them ASAP, so we can start getting feedbak as soon as mid next week. Thank you all for your time

So what is the weight of the pulley? Your site is down at the moment, although it wasn't listed for the max the last time I was there.

The Pulley weighs exactly 1.7 lbs (1lb 11.3 ounces) according to the scale we used. Thank you
