I think the WS will not that big of a difference, but it does look dam tight. You might gain at most 5hp along with a ypipe. It all changes when you are boosted though. But, if this is your first mod, you will be lucky if you even gain 1hp

I might go and buy one now...but I'm in love with my B-pipe and 5th gen muffler. Anyways, I can't believe it was just a few months ago, people were paying $100 more.

Wow 5hp, last I heard the y-pipe puts 10hp to the wheels, funny how adding a catback to a y decreases by 5hp...

 

Reread what I put...The ypipe will gain 10, but the exhaust will gain an extra 5hp complimented with a ypipe. If your first mod is an exhaust, you will be lucky if you gain 1hp. I don't have rice mentality that adding an exhaust to a NA car will gain me 10hp.

Not true. boosted Maximas tend to gain only 5-7hp with a CatBack. 10-12hp with a custom 3" CatBack.

The whole "It adds 30hp if you're boosted" myth is crap.

so, just to make sure, if somebody gets this for a 97-99 maxima, they have to drill an extra hole for the O2 sensor that goes after the cat, correct?

 

One more questin on the WS. I assumed it was 2.5" piping. Am I correct or is it smaller.

 

i emailed these people asking if i could just order the muffler! they said NO! i already have a b-pipe in the mail from warpspeed with my y, and just want a muffler.. suggestions????

too bad the WS in only 2.25" it seems really pointless to get the 2.5" ypipe and cat then push it back into a smaller diameter pipe... WHY can Greddy be that cheap or Apexi just make it 2.5"...
